In projects varying from cozy, smaller scale homes to palatial Newport Beach estates, the firm chooses Infratech heaters to keep outdoor living rooms and pool areas inviting all year long. We spoke with Urban Landscape’s Nels Griffin to learn why they use Infratech heaters in their elegant, modern designs.

What made you select Infratech heaters for these Southern California homes?

We use Infratech heaters because they, in our opinion, are the most elegant solution for flush mount heaters. They are effective, they aesthetically look amazing, they are affordable, and most important—to date all the homeowners love them.

What is your favorite thing about the heaters?

As a construction company with a strong design component we first were drawn to Infratech heaters because they fit the streamlined style that most our designs rally around. So again, aesthetically they were a perfect fit. From there we determined that they were also an excellent product, so we started to use them several years ago for all our outdoor flush mount heaters.

What was your overall inspiration for the design of these spaces?

We are known for taking Southern California architectural themes and incorporating a twist of contemporary flair into the outdoor living areas. The style and design of Infratech heaters integrate into this process perfectly.

How are your customers’ outdoor living lifestyles influencing your designs?

We find that most our customers want their outdoor living areas to be a seamless transition from their indoor spaces. Despite the very mild weather in Southern California there is enough of a variance in temperatures throughout the year to incorporate outdoor heaters. With this in mind we nearly always suggest outdoor heaters in our designs.
