Last night Episode 24 of W Network’s Love It Or List It Vancouver aired, featuring Infratech heaters! The popular Canadian series showcases families who are struggling with homes that, for one reason or another, no longer suit their needs, so they’re faced with the dilemma: should they love it or list it? While interior designer Jillian Harris (formerly of The Bachelorette Season 5 and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) attempts to revive the love that the homeowners once had with a beautiful home renovation, realtor Todd Talbot tempts homeowners to relocate, presenting them with the dreamiest homes on the market.

Last week the DIY Network debuted Mega Decks, a new series about luxury outdoor living spaces constructed by Gail and Garth Hyland’s innovative deck and landscaping company Colorado Custom Decks. The construction team’s architectural challenges include building incredible fire features, outdoor entertainment systems, waterfalls and water features, pergolas and outdoor kitchens. The decks they build are unparalleled in terms of amenities, comfort, and design. They also feature Infratech heaters.

We’re pleased to share that Infratech was featured in “High-Tech Outdoor Entertaining Tips,” a recent blog story by one of cable’s highest-rated networks, HGTV. The home improvement channel is distributed to over 99 million homes in America and is currently the nation’s fifth ranked cable network. HGTV’s affiliated magazine is the #7 best-selling monthly magazine, with a digital circulation of over 103,000 subscribers. The piece was written by digital lifestyle expert Carley Knobloch, who is also a contributor to NBC’s TODAY show and CNN.

Ultra-luxury housing is on the rise, thanks to entertainment and tech industry titans and overseas buyers looking to invest in lavish trophy properties. Recently The Wall Street Journal took a peek at the eight-to-nine figure price tag homes developers and investors are building on spec, in hopes of attracting wealthy home hunters. These palatial estates contain master bedrooms and in-home spas the size of the average American home, plus—in certain cases—the largest IMAX theatre ever installed in a home, and a $200,000 sweets-stocked “candy bar.” For these high end clients, Southern California-based designers/builders Shelly and Avi Osadon of See Construction choose only the highest quality homebuilding materials.

When restauranteur Sean Meenan teamed up with liquor producer and nightlife impresario Rande Gerber to bring his classic Nolita eatery Cafe Habana from the East Coast to the West, the duo decided to create a relaxed, beach-like atmosphere to complement the new restaurant’s Malibu location. Cafe Habana Malibu’s interior design nods to the dark, wood-paneled gentlemen’s clubs of the past, classic Cuban architecture, and California flora and fauna. To take advantage of the seaside city’s comfortable weather and ocean breezes, the cafe features a sunny patio sheltered by a wooden pergola, complete with a bold mural by graphic designer and street artist Shepard Fairey.
